      Can I make traditional calls and SMS with my eSIM?

      Tripsim eSIMs are data-only. You can make and receive calls and messages via WhatsApp, Facetime and other popular VOIP apps, but you can't make traditional calls and SMS.

      How can I reach out to tripsim support?

      1. By using our AI chat "SIMon". Simply click on the blue chat bubble on the bottom right of the screen. If you are logged in, SIMon will automatically recognise your eSIM. SIMon can resolve most minor connection and admin issues.

      Does the eSIM come with a phone number?

      No, there is no phone number associated with our eSIMs as we only offer mobile data.

      Can I top-up my eSIM?

      Yes, simply log into your Tripsim Account and click on the top-up button.

      How can I avoid data roaming fees from my main telco while I travel?

      Make sure you have turned off data roaming for your primary SIM card. This is to stop your device from connecting to your telco data services once you arrive at your destination.

      Data roaming should remain on for your Tripsim eSIM. This is to ensure that data works correctly for your tripsim eSIM.

      Can I keep my WhatsApp number?

      Yes. WhatsApp will work as usual and you don't need to do any other changes.

      Can I share data from my Tripsim eSIM?

      Yes. Data sharing is available on all Tripsim eSIMs.

      When does my data bundle officially starts?

      Your data bundle starts from the first day of activation. This means you need to have used at least 1% of your data for the eSIM to be considered "active".

      How much data can I get?

      We have different sizes to fit any kind of data usage.

      • 1GB/7 days: this is perfect for short trips to use maps, messaging and social media apps.
      • 3GB and 5GB/30 days: to video call and watch your TikToks on the go.
