Besides places the remote places where there was no reception (expected), had reasonably fast data and did the job.
Well I’ve not used mine yet for Europe but I’m daughter has been using hers in Asia and has had no problems with it in fact it works like a charm.
Needs to be more data then 20g
Hi there,

Never worked
Hi there and thank you for your review.
We are sorry to hear that you did not have a great experience with our eSIM.
According to our system, the eSIM was never installed onto your device. We suggest following the instructions you received via email, including the step-by-step installation videos on our website to ensure your eSIM is installed.
Kind regards,
Tripsim Support
Despite great instructions my iPhone had a number of different options that came up (none labeled the same as the instructions) when trying to get the SIM to operate so it took a lot of time to get it working but once up and running it’s been great. Friend is paying $5/day for international roaming and the only thing she has over me is access to SMS. I use data for voice or video calls (Snap Cat or WhatsAp). Highly recommend.
It's extremely convenient to sign up for a roaming bundle while travelling but having no calling services is a bit of a let down. Having the ability to call in emergency situations is very handy and you'll never realise you need it until you actually need it.
Hi Sohaib and thank you for your email.
We launched Tripsim only in May 2023 with the aim of providing a reliable internet connection while you travel to avoid roaming fees from telcos. As such we focus on data roaming only since you can still make calls via WhatsApp, Facetime etc. We constantly review our product offering, but for the time being we do not offer a voice or text product.
Kind regards

Tripsim has been a find. We have tried all the other methods when travelling overseas. Tripsim works and works well.
We had coverage to all but a couple of Eastern European countries (Montenegro and Bosnia i Herzegovina). Low fuss once it is installed. I like that the top up goes live once you have run your other package out. Would be good to have options over 30 days for long term travellers or the ability to suspend if you have to spend 10 days in a non coverage area in the middle of your 30 days.
Used eSim for getting map data and local tourist info
Still can’t work out the phone/sms thing which they promote on the video
Hi Glenn
Thank you for your review.
As advertised on our website, our eSIMs are data-only.
The video mentions that you don't need to remove your plastic home SIM card if you want to still receive phone calls and SMS.
Kind regards,
Tripsim Support
This SIM did not work at all. Complete waste of money.
Hi Olivia,
We are sorry to hear this did not work for you. According to our system, your eSIM is correctly installed, but it doesn't seem as data roaming is turned ON.
Data roaming should be turned ON for your Tripsim eSIM, whilst it should be turned OFF for your home SIM card to avoid your telco's roaming fees.

I was happy with the performance and value of my eSIM thank you for that. When I recharged it though the prompts were very confusing and I ended up buying another new e sim! I’d love it if you could refund me for that please. To get the recharge done I got my wife to do it on her computer back in Australia.
Hi Alan,
Thank you very much for your review and trusting Tripsim for your travel.
Top-ups can be done only from your Tripsim account:
1 - Log into your tripsim account by clicking on the 'Log In' button from the upper-right corner of our website.
2 - Select your eSIM
3 - Click on 'Top-up'. By default the system will prompt you to the last data bundle you purchased, you can still change it to a different data bundle/region if need be.
We're looking into the separate eSIM that was purchased by mistake.
Kind regards,
Tripsim Support
I bought it to use it in Japan, took us a while to figured out how it worked.
For New Zealand I bought one for me and one for my daughter again, mine worked fine but for my daughter didn’t work, so she just used the phone when WiFi was available. We checked and re checked everything and compared what was ticked in my phone etc, but we couldn’t figured out….
Used in Italy, Germany, Denmark, France - nearly always excellent coverage. However struggled in southern Sweden. Otherwise super easy to install/reload and data started working within 5 mins of arrival to new country
I bought a tripsim for Asia covering Singapore and HKG, such a breeze to setup. It picked up local network seemlessly as I travel and the local 5G network was fast and reliable
Had no problems at all until I reached Nantes France. It works outside (in the rain) but once I’m inside it fails to connect. Carrier is drei.at. It’s frustrating because I do not use hotel wifi for banking transactions. Is there any way to resolve. I’ve tried phone for then on. That doesn’t work. Regards Anita Finn
Hi Anita,
Thank you very much for your review.
The reception issue can be easily solved by manually selecting another mobile network. In France we rely on 4 different mobile networks as listed on our website: Orange, SFR, Bouygues Telecom, and Free Mobile.
Also, remember that our support team is always available to help you. You can contact our team directly by submitting the support request form available at this page: https://help.tripsim.com.au/hc/en-au/requests/new

eSIM worked fine, we visited Greece, Turkey, Cypress, Malta & Italy over 28 days, had plenty of data.
I highly recommend an eSIM with tripsim. Past experience had me worried about large costs to use my phone overseas but tripsim sorted it out perfectly, upfront I knew how much I would spend.
