      It's installed but data is not working, what do I do?

      1) Check in your mobile phone settings if your Tripsim eSIM is selected for data use. 

      2) Check that you have disabled data roaming for your primary (plastic) SIM card, whilst you should leave it active for your Tripsim eSIM.

      3) If you are still experiencing issues please contact our support team from the help page of our website.

      How do I install my eSIM?

      Do I need to remove my physical SIM card?

      No, it can stay on your device. 

       

      You will simply need to select your eSIM for mobile data and ensure that data roaming is only active for your eSIM.

       

      Data roaming should be set to inactive for your physical SIM card in your phone settings to avoid eye-watering roaming bills from your primary supplier.

      Can I share my data with other devices?

      Can I top up my eSIM data?

      Can I send SMS messages with a Tripsim eSIM?

      Tripsim eSIMs provide you with data services only. This means that you can still message your friends and family via WhatsApp, iMessage, Facebook Messenger and other popular messaging apps, but you can't send traditional SMS.

      Does the eSIM come with a phone number?

      No, our eSIMs come with no phone number as they are data-only.
      Your WhatsApp phone number will remain unchanged and you can use your current WhatsApp account with our eSIMs.

      Can I perform traditional phone calls?
